Dubai
Central Medical Library has started a one month trial of
complete electronic journal collections of the following
high ranking publishers:
Springer
Elsevier
Taylor and
Francis
Oxford
University Press
Kluwer
Emerald
Blackwell
More than
4000 electronic journals with about half of them being
medical and related titles with between 4-8 years of
back files are made available to the libraries of
Department of Health and Medical Services (DOHMS)
in Dubai, UAE.
13 Members
of the consortium committee received a 1/2 day training
in order to be able to decide on the future of the
digital library of the DOHMS.
