Springer
adds a new member to its online bookseries available
STAR (springer
tracts in advanced robotics) is added to the enriched
Springer's online bookseries.
The Springer
Tracts in Advanced Robotics (STAR) publishes new
developments
and advances in the fields of robotics research - rapidly
and informally
but with a high quality. Its aim is to cover all the
technical contents,
applications, and multidisciplinary aspects of robotics,
embedded in the
fields of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science,
Electrical
Engineering, Mechatronics, Control, and Life Sciences - as
well as the
methodologies behind. Published are monographs, lecture
notes, selected
contributions from specialized conferences and workshops,
as well as
selected PhD theses.
A unique feature of "Springer Tracts in Advanced
Robotics" is the online
edition: The full text is published ahead of print on
Springer's internet
service, and access will be free for everybody!
Lecture Notes in Earth Sciences
(LNES) reports new
developments in research and teaching in the entire field of
earth sciences -- quickly and informally, but with high
quality. Manuscripts to be considered for publication
include monographs and edited topical volumes consisting of
a limited number of contributions, carefully edited and
closely related to each other. The timeliness of a
manuscript is more important than its form, which may be
preliminary or tentative.
The publication of
Lecture Notes in Earth Sciences
is intended as a service to the international community of
earth scientists in that the publisher Springer-Verlag
offers global distribution of documents which would
otherwise have a restricted readership. Once published and
copyrighted, they can be cited in the scientific literature.
