Tracts in Advanced Robotics (STAR) publishes new
developments
and advances in the fields of robotics research - rapidly

but with a high quality. Its aim is to cover all the

Lecture Notes in Earth Sciences
(LNES) reports new
developments in research and teaching in the entire field of
earth sciences -- quickly and informally, but with high
quality. Manuscripts to be considered for publication
include monographs and edited topical volumes consisting of
a limited number of contributions, carefully edited and
closely related to each other. The timeliness of a
manuscript is more important than its form, which may be
preliminary or tentative.
